Feb 01, 2016 · Hi guys, I am awful at scripting and I’m trying to get an easy way to use fades for transitioning in scenes. I was wondering if anyone could help me out by showing me how I could reverse the OVRScreenFade to use as a fade and for it to be called (I assume as a Coroutine) from another script (say on a button press, the fade starts then a scene change after 4 seconds)?

Nov 25, 2015 · The OVRScreenFade script seems to work fine (at least for initial Fade In). Just drag it onto your Left and Right Eye Anchor objects in the OVRCameraRig, set the Fade Shader (I’m using Unlit/Transparent HUD) and set your colour / time.

I’m trying to fade out an opening scene (with title text and all that) and fade in the second scene but I can’t seem to figure this out. I tried to set up a canvas with a black image child that starts out with 0 alpha and animates to 255 alpha to simulate fading to black, and it seems to work in the game screen but doesn’t actually have any affect when I put on the vive headset.

SteamVR – I can’t get SteamVR_Fade to work at all! Question. I’ve been trying for literally hours now, ot get SteamVR_Fade.Start or SteamVR_Fade.View to work at all, without luck. Here’s a snippet from the documentation in the script in Unity:

The Set Manual Camera Fade and related nodes looked promising, but they required Mobile HDR!.
